History Running 1981 in an antique big house at Billinghurst & Las Heras corner, Buenos Aires, Argentina, the mythical Studio Contemporáneo opens its doors. A working space, counting with the best equipments and preserving a warmth and intimacy necessary to reach an artistic inspiration. There converge the most different musicians and musical expressions of jazz, tango, folk and multiple musical diversities. Firsts recordings take place testimoning a very rich musical time of inmense creativity in the recent history of our city and country. Those were the foundations of Contemporáneo Art Music. Nowadays, in a new beautiful place at the traditional Belgrano neighborhood, and keeping the same passion, we settle down as a label company. We issue the first part of our catalogue, including projects from the begginings up to recent amazing ones, always in the fields of innovation in Argentina and the rest of the world.
